Caroline is a member of 'The National Institute of Medical Herbalists' (founded in 1864) and has a BSc in Phytotherapy awarded by the University of Wales.  Caroline is married, has two teenagers and lives in West Kent.

Caroline has a fully equipped dispensary where she is able to formulate tailor-made prescriptions for her patients. These may be dispensed in the form of an infusion, syrup, spray, cream, poultice, capsules or tinctures.  The conditions being treated will dictate the appropriate mode of administration.

Caroline often leads 'Medicinal Herb Identification Walks' and is available to give talks to local interest groups.

Lavendula officinalis (Lavender)
With its unmistaken sweet fragrance Lavender was traditionally used as a condiment and to perfume linen. Taken internally it was used to alleviate fainting and palpatations, giddiness and colic. Externally it is used in the form of an essential oil to put onto minor burns.
